I’ve always loved taking photos and still do, but I actually like to look at them even more. Old photographs have always fascinated me, because of the grainy black and white look and those fringy borders. You literally feel the paper.

And I also know how hard it can be to get a great analogue photograph. Especially in times, where film wasn’t super sensitive, but super grainy. So if I do see old pictures, which are also great in composition, my heart jumps. In these photographs you can see my grandmother in her younger years. I wonder, if the flowers are real. She had a peculiar weakness for plastic flowers.
