Canned happiness

When I am at the supermarket I might end up with lots of pretty packaging in my basket. I love looking at cans, tins, glasses and jars. And obviously I like to draw them, too. This is a sketchbook series ( a4) , mainly mixed media, whereas the background is always one flat Gouache surface to make the item stand out more. I used colored pencils for details and typography. My favorite is the huge cornichons jar, what’s yours?

Of course eating all this stuff comes right after painting them. That’s where the title canned happiness is coming from.
